Bear watching tour from half day offered by Professional team staff is an amazing experience in one of richest area in large carnivores  in Romania. We offer you half of day for watching bears and, possible, printed foot of wolves and lynxes. We will meet after your lunch and will hike in mountain, in deep forest, where are bear’s and lynx’s dens. Evening we will go into bear observatory where we can see in safety wild bears and, in some days, wild boars.

We will leave the bear watching hide to return to the guesthouse before sunset. In order to minimize the impact on the wildlife we require a minimum of three persons and maximum of eighteen persons per evening. Includes: specialized wildlife guide and use of bear watching hide. These bears are truly wild and we have a 90 – 95% chance of seeing them at the hides. We cannot guarantee sightings!

Essential equipment and clothing needed for bear watching  in Romania

Besides ordinary travelling clothes you will also need: a small backpack, comfortable walking boots with good ankle support, water bottle, waterproof jacket and warm sweater, sunglasses, sunscreen and sun hat. Medical and Health Requirements for bear watching tour To the best of our knowledge the Romanian Government does not currently require you to have any special vaccinations. Most importantly to consult your family doctor (G.P.) before your visit to Romania. All our activities imply physical effort, walking long distances at medium and high altitudes and possibly climbing. Please check with your doctor if your health allows you to participate!
