Romania preserves largest area of primeval forests from the all Europe, discover with us the unique romanian experience. The virgin forests are located in a Rasnov’s mountainous area, between 500 and 1,300 meters altitude. Mixed forests with beeches, silver firs, spruces, cover most of the area, preserving one of most important mixed primeval forests. We will see all of this in special protected area of Bucegi Natural Park.
Our trip is out of touristic trails, sometime following wild life path, sometime path off. Besides ordinary travelling clothes you will also need: a small backpack, comfortable walking boots with good ankle support, water bottle, waterproof jacket and lunch. Between 4 and 6 hours are necessary to visit virgin forests area.
We have reasonable chances to see bears, wolves, lynxes and reed deer.
